Ok Beyhive, don’t shoot me (the messenger), but after watching Bey and Jay’s Grammy performance for the gazillionth time, one of our Beyonce News fans had this to say:
It wasn’t the best performance she’s done, and you know what? I think she knew it too. Judging by the pics backstage, Bey looks real upset don’t you think? And did you notice the big hug Jay gave her at the end when they walked off stage? It was almost like he was consoling her. We all know Bey’s a perfectionist so I can only imagine the conversation that took place later in her dressing room.
(These are the pics she’s referring to)
Bey’s so used to performing in front of crowds of thousands, voice always flawless regardless of whether she’s standing still or dancing in 4 inch heels. So how come with this performance her voice was slightly shaky and not as powerful? (note: it did get more powerful once Jay hit the stage). Do you think she was nervous? It seemed that way. I don’t know why, because Drunk in Love is one of the best songs on the album…certainly my favorite. Everything else about the performance was amazing…the outfit (nipple showing or not), her hair, the sexy moves, the hot chemistry between her and Jay, his ass grab, her seducing him, the extra “surfboard” at the end OMG!
I could go on and on. But yet, I was a bit thrown by the vocals. Ah well, that’s my thoughts on it. If I had to rate the performance, I’d give it a 9/10…because I can’t lie, despite what I’ve said, I was still screaming my head off throughout it all.

So I put the question out there, what did the rest of you think. Does ‘IheartBey’ have a point?
